Welcome to Chatham's Cherubs

 

I am Alex Thurlow and I run Chatham's Cherubs Childminding close to the centre of Bridgwater.

 

At Chatham's Cherubs, your child will have access to a wide range of activities, this includes:

 

Messy play - flubber, slick, painting etc
Stories
Going on local walks
Roleplay/dressing up
Going to parks

Water play
Going shopping – cafes etc
Singing
Outdoor play - Garden play
Cooking and MORE....

 

One of my main priorities is to spend time with each individual child as this greatly aids their learning and development.

I aim to do fun and exciting activities but also partake in everyday type activities i.e. shopping, eating out in cafes etc as this aids the children’s  social skills and helps builds self-esteem.

 

Quaifications

I have been working in childcare for 3 years, however i have experience of being around children due to having 1 niece and 4 nephews.

I am currently working towards my Level 3 in childcare

I am First Aid trained

I am trained in safeguarding children

I am currently working towards food safety training
